First of all the Montserrat is a breath taking place. Only 1 hour drive. The guide Mercedes is an amazing guide. Entertained us all the way to the mountain, she told us stories, made us laugh and i really felt i had a local experience.

Mercedes loves what shes doing and really you feel how much she cares about you as a guest and about your needs.

Daniel gave a wonderful tour of the monastery at Monserrat—a perfect way to spend a morning. The departure times are very punctual so don’t be late. Our guide was very knowledgeable with the history of Cataluña and Barcelona, and loved answering questions. He made sure to point out everything we should see in the monastery and provided helpful guidance for when the mass started so we could be respectful for those there for prayer. Definitely follow his advice to visit the farmers selling cheese—they are delicious.
